Oh? Cause I have seen many good tankers able to absorb up to 5-6 rounds and live to tell the tale. This is with me as the only AV user firing at it (no forge or other swarms). And I know for a fact that these are not EHP monsters who just stacked plates with no mods. |

First, let me say that I am not of the TANKS R OP crowd. I have said that they are UP since Uprising hit.
This is from actual face to face combat with tanks and not camping in a hill somewhere. I have personally run into a couple tanks that have survived up to 5-6 rounds at very close range before going down.

Example - Agreed though I think it was more of the resistance mods than logi help. At least in the one case I remember.
Typically I only take out swarms to deal with LLAV spamming these days (and dont agree with the swarm buff in 1.4)
Demon - Yes, most standard tanks go down in 4 or 5 volleys
Speaker - lvl 5 prof with 3 damage mods will get you around 2500 damage per proto volley. And yes, I know that I can solo tanks as it is right now and, no, I dont agree with being able to do that. |

BTW - If you dont mind searching for it, I would recommend Charlotte's thread about buffing tanks but diversifying maps as a counter.
the tl;dr of it was that it made tanks the kings of open ground where AV weapons were more used to support a friendly tanker but gave maps infantry only areas around certain (not all) objectives so that tanks would not make infantry pointless. |

Only if you nerfed LAVs to compensate. Again, I have no issue with tanks and the reason most people skilled into proto AV to begin with is because of the stupid LAV spam.
